Hi, does the Hercules Thriller support 2x AGP or just 1x?  I don't know
and I am too lazy to look it up myself.  Also, would any of you who have
this card recommend it for GPL on a P2-350?  I have narrowed my video
card choices down to a 12meg Voodoo2 or the Thriller and would like to
read some of your comments about it.

Thanks in advance,
Ryan Kocher

   1x

   I've only used the Thriller (8 meg/AGP on a C300A/450), and I'm
happy.  It might have slightly higher frame rate or slightly better
image quality for your computer than the Voodoo2, but bigger questions
(IMO) are if you want to keep your current 2D video card or want
compatability with more games (both go to the Voodoo2).  Good luck!

I know that there are a lot of users of this card amongst the subscribers to
the group so, is anyone else having the same annoying problem as me?

When I increase the gamma setting to brighten things up a bit for GPL,
Windows 95 always loses the setting after a re-boot.

The card is an 8Mbyte AGP, I have the latest drivers from Hercules and
Windows 95 4.00.950a.

The previous version of the driver would forget the scan rate settings;
surely they didn't fix one thing and not the other?

   Yup.

Yup.  I've put a shortcut to Display Properties on my desktop for
easy access/to remind me to fix it.

Progress is a funny thing...  :)

Me 2.

I think it gets overwritten by the Herc driver.

Yes, 75Hz seems to be the Default. If I set up 85Hz on desktop (for
640, 800 and 1024 resolutions in all depths), GPL runs with 75Hz.
