Can someone please help me? Tried to install the new patch and I keep
getting the error message when it comes to updating the files. Reads,
"error message, old file not found" and "cannot update" I tried to
install NASPATO and NASPAT1 and neither will work, still keep getting
error messages. It stops at updating the layout.dat
Is it because I have changed something on my layout files on my paint
kit(decals).

Yes. You need to copy the un-modified version off of the CD (remember to
change it from read-only) and re-apply the patch.

Make sure that the Patch is located in you nascar2 directory!
I believe if you have modified some of the files, the patch won't work. I
had to that problem with Atlanta.txt. I had to copy the original, then
the patch worked fine.
