GPL Frame rate

I have an HP PC with a PII-333 Processor, 64 MB RAM, and an ATI Rage Pro AGP2X
Video Card with 8MB SDRAM. I've been playing Grand Prix Legends for about a
week. I chose the software option during the game video setup. The frames per
second performance is around 10 to 11. Is there a way to set up the computer,
video card or game to provide better performance? I also got a message during
setup that my Active movie version being newer than the one for GPL. What's
that about?
Thanks

You'll need a video accelerator such has a VooDoo2 3dfx.  Your frame rate
will go much higher and you'll enjoy your game much more...

for your cpu speed a hercules thriller 8 meg would give you great performance,
papy sims are optimized for the rendition chip. If you also play other games that
need 3dfx support then get a 3dfx card.

Considering you've already got an AGP2x card, pick up a Voodoo 2.
Your frame rate will double (at least).  And the V2 will wind up
being useful elsewhere.

Forget the active movie thing.  Newer is good, in this case.
