Question on VROC and Firewall...

I've been trying to run GPL and VROC though a firewall (Linus 2.0). With GPL
1.0 I couldn't get anywhere, though with the GPL 1.1 I can launch VROC, see
all the races going on and even try to join. It will launch GPL, connect, say
"welcome" but then when it should bring up the track selection screen with the
green button, it does not display the track graphic (or name, or the details
of the race). It waits there like this for about 5 seconds and then sais
"disconnecting". Any idea why this is and how to fix this? I have here GPL
1.1, Linus 2.0 firewall, Alison Hine's core.ini. Also, I was running VROC
though Netscape 4.5. I've got the SpyBoy 1.99.08 (or something like that ...
the beta  patch) and I can see all the happening on VROC though that as well.
Also, my IP address is entered correctly.

Any help would be apreciated (BTW, I haven't done any IP mapping which I read
somehere about ... not sure how to).

Check out John Simmons' (sp?) excellent directions on his webpage, I've used
his directions for 1.1 on that page with excellent results.
