Linear or Non-Linear Steering

by wayne klokma » Tue, 10 Dec 1996 04:00:00

Is there a setting for linear or non-liner steering in N2, I could not find
one in the manual. If there is not one,
what is the default setting in N2. I am using a T1 wheel and pedals and
everything is working fine, just
curious that's all.

Thanks
Wayne

Linear/Non-Linear appear to be set by default based on your selection of
Joystick or Wheel as your controller in the Controls menu.  I use a
stick and everything seems the same as ver. 1, except I normally have to
reduce the wheel lock for each setup.

The choices have been labeled "Joystick" (non-linear) and "Wheel" (linear)
in the controls page.

Thanks Dave, that fixed my problem!!!  Wow now I really like this game
now that I can steer the darn thing.  This answers the question I sent
out yesterday.

To use non-liner steering just select the joystick option.  This is just
like using the liner/non-liner option in Nascar 1 The wheel uses liner
steering.
