Also received response for this problem in High Gear forum from bugbeer guy
called spikey with claim that our drivers are not OK? Maybe, but only in
Rally Trophy. Hope they will think again before release and fix that
problem. I don't want even to think about this game if they don't support
split axis.

Same here using an early LWFF. Either with or without the LWFF profiler
utility running or with the pedals reported as single axis or dual axis; the
ingame configuration utility graphic will only show an arrow pointing to the
accelerator pedal. Nothing I have done allows me to run the brakes separate
from the accelerator. Wonder if the USB connection is causeing the problem?
Still a game I'm going to get though :)

Why is it so difficult for developers to get the controllers right, when a
three year old DX6 based game works perfectly? :-(

Same wheel here, I also get only one arrow pointing Accelerator. But in
game, I get dual axis support !!
Try outside view, start the race, and press both pedals in neutral. You
should hear the engine revving and the brake lights on ...
Really. Microprose did it perfectly for Grand Prix II back in 96

Andi.
I had the same problem with LWFF. Most oddly, the cure is to press the
'reset' button in games controller setup. Theres no logical reason but give
it a try!
I know it is very misleading that in the games controller setup screen
theres only one line to pedals (LWFF) as if dual axis are not supported, but
this is the way to get them to work. Even multiple controllers work great.

I still think Bugbear should rethink their config though and go for
something more like GPL/N4 and GP3's. The rest of RT is top notch though :-)

Which drivers are you using? I'm using 3.62 and this is one of the few
games where split axis doesn't work for me.
