How do I make the MS steering wheel work in Rally Trophy??

I can't get the game to work properly with the Microsoft force
feedback steering wheel. At the beginning, when pressing on the gas in
first gear, the power tapers off to nothing and can't go anywhere, it
will steer but won't go anywhere.

Any ideas??

Make sure the in-game controller settings have the right selections for the
controller, it is very easy to leave some settings unallocated. Are your
split axes settings wrong? Are you using the patch? it has some improvements
in the controller settings.

The RT controller settings are probably one of it's worst issues.

If all else fails go back and do a reset controller from the game settings
and try again. It is possible to get the settings 'stuck' to allocations
that won't work. My LWFF works after a reset has been done.

Hope this helps, I found this procedure a real pain when I was playing RT.
