The non-pro is clocked at 275 Mhz while the pro is at 325.  That is the only
difference so many people have been waiting for this one with the idea of
overclocking it to the pro levels.

Radeon 9700 (non-Pro model) is now shipping!

I just ordered the 9500 Pro: only $200.  "With a core clock speed of 275MHz,
Radeon 9500 PRO features only a 128-bit memory bus (limiting it to two
64-bit crossbar memory controllers), like the plain 9500, but all eight of
R300's pixel processing pipelines, like the 9700. As with 9500, the 9500 PRO
retains all four of the Vertex Shader engines from R300 giving it quite a
high geometry performance." (Beyond 3D).

Hasn't arrived yet (just shipped this week).  When it does, I'll post
subjective impressions (I don't have much faith in benchmarks) if anybody's
interested.
