GTR2002 questions/problems

I hope these questions don't sound too idiotic, but they're driving me crazy.
1) I can't get dual axis mode for my brake and gas. I'm using an old style
Logitech Formula Force. It works in GPL and SCGT, just can't get it in GTR. 2)
Every time I restart the game, all of my settings are back to default. How can
I get the GTR to remember what I set? TIA

"WillyB4120"

      graphic settings or controller settings?
Dual axis works well with both LWFF and MOMO's so we may have to dig a
little.  What version of the Logitech software are you using?

Joe, my config file isn't marked "Read only". I tried making it "Read only" and
GTR wouldn't load.

I think the latest Logitech drives are v.4.20  I suspect much of your
problems can be fixed by updating your wheel software.  Also one little
hint.  Sims like GPL have been known to loose the focus on your wheel if you
disturb your system while booting the game.(I beleive this affects N2k2 as
well)   While the game is booting, don't mess with your mouse, don't press
the pedals or turn the wheel.  Keep your hands off til the sim is fully
booted.   I haven't seen this happen with the ISI titles, but somebody here
on RAS figured out the problem for the Papy products.

I have the same problems (LWFF). Dual axis does not work. And everytime I
load a new track, I must go to the controllers page and back (I don't have
to change anything, the old settings are there), otherwise force feedback
does not activate.

Dave, I updated to v 4.20, but still can't get dual axis. I notice that now the
previous settings are staying where I left them from the last race. I don't
know if updating the wheel drivers had anything to do with that though. Wierd.

also at the teamwingman site, is a utility called clear calibration.  Run
that...reboot...and you should be good to go...I had that problem...took me
a few days to figure it out...:)
Clear calibration is in the Gadgets section.

You have to reboot when done.  And you may have to unplug your wheel and
re-connect for Windows to see it.
