Why don't you try finishing races and not wall riding.

I believe he was just kidding :)

If you find out, tell the other million of us. Papy will not breath word
one about this, and we know damned well they have seen the outcry for an
explanation page for the Rankings.
I am very dissapointed in their handling of this issue.

Frank,
What he wants, and what we ALL want, is a document, web page, scrawlings in
the sand, whatever that breaks down this ranking system, how you are scored,
damage points system, etc...
The numbers mean nothing right now because we don't know what was done to
_get_ the numbers.
NROS had a specific web page that explained, in detail, the ranking systems.
My preference is to have no less available for the current system.

It's all a matter of finishing ahead of drivers with better skills.

It pisses me off. Here I drive in a Nascar club and wuld consider myself to be
a good driver. Not the fastest, but rarely get involved in mistakes on the
track. Yet here I run in a few daytona online races and get crashed out on the
starts by a bunch of idiots that try to pass on the start. next race I am
getting passed in turn 3 at Daytona 3 a*** and both people on each side of
me warp and I get a BF out of nowhere.
No my rating is 28lpi and I can't race on any of the brickserver races.
WTF? Some good damn game penalizes me because a bunch of retards are on open
races and enjoy causing wrecks.
COME ON PAPY....
If it were up to me, LPI would be calculated completely and totally
separate from the final rankings. Same with the finishing positions,
completely and totally separate from the final rankings. Same with the X
and the Y and so forth. Each thing that is calculated should have a rank in
it's own and we should *not* have an over all rank. but that's my opinion.
(btw: 5xx.xx lpi at the moment)

It would be nice if Papy would acknowledge that they acknowledge :)
As best I can tell, they have side-stepped ALL inquiries into this, like
it's a big secret or something.

Welcome to the world of online racing. As long as we have open races that
anyone can join, we're going to have morons that learned their races skills
and etiquette in the Quake arena. This is the biggest reason I hardly ever
race the open races anymore, confining myself mostly to league races. At
least then I know who I'm racing against.

Excuse me but isn't this the whole idea behind strapping a helmet on and going
racing? The higher up the leader board you finish, the better your rankings?
Yes, I believe I read that somewhere.

hmm.. didn't think about this till just now. We used to be able to run
two (or more) ID's on TEN. We would run one for pickup races and one for
League races. Has anyone tried to setup a second account on here yet? I'm
wondering if I did set up a second account, would it take everything from my
old account and transfer it? Or, Would it delete my old account and start a
fresh new account? or, would I have the availability to run either or
account at will?
