I'm not certain that this guy's got it 100% accurate (he even admits that),
but he's at least made a stab at telling the world how the rankings work in
N4, more than I've seen anywhere else, anyway. Anyone got any other ideas?

It seems like a good explanation, I don't think he's too far off with
his suggestions. I like the idea that you only score points / score
more points if you win from drivers with a higer level.
Allthough using the ranking in pick-up races is not much use since
half of the N4 drivers seem to enjoy wrecking and driving the wrong
way the most :(

Is this ever the truth Andre and getting worse daily! I'm glad many are
rating their races now 'i.e. 2-5, 5-10, 7-10 etc.. It's better for all!

Yeah, unfortunately Razors Edge 8-10 server was down all weekend :( Stuck
in "Setup".

The bad part is that I had a 4 rating and a 191.3 in the incident

fell to 112.6. I have yet to get past level 4 because of some jerks on-line.
I work all freakin day and relax by trying to drive one race a night. I get
so pissed when a nit-wit ruins it for everyone in the field. Last race Some
*** took out all of the field but me <dodged `em> and left me runnin by
myself in front.....so they shut down the server. Cod was I pissed

KdF this is why I feel rated or passworded races are the way to go.
Sadly the rated races are going down hill too. We had a great Dega

& that was the end of that race too. PW'ed are better and then you
can race with others you repect and now.. ya know?...lol

But, does it *really* surprize you that the server would be shut down? It
doesn't make sense to continue if one guy wants to ruin it for others...
I'm curious, though - can't you just !eject the offending ***?

If you are running the server...I do believe you can eject the a-holes...but
the problem seems to be that the dood <or doodette> is racing too and only
gets ***ed at after the mayhem starts. It`s just that I`m not running the
server....someone else is and I only want a decent race. I can`t pick and
choose who will enter the fray...and I do not know that many names out
there. Passworded games seem to be the way to go....but how does a guy like
me...who only wants to do 1 race a nite <time permitting> get into a
passworded game without knowing who to ask...and who will vouch for me? I do
not on the other hand blame all wrecks on idiots...I too have caused my
share...due to lag and warps mostly <and yes some stupidity>..you see where
I`m going??

I just had to vent. =0)

AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!

Hey I didn't know you could host a race for drivers with a certain
level only! (I just started racing online since last sunday).
Very cool feature!! But untill I get a good level I still have to
drive with these kamikazes :(

Well, I'm loading N4 right now, so I may have a server up soon... We'll see.
