>>The potential "gain" is the avoidance of loss on tech support calls if
>>the patch has stability problems, or needs integration with NROS, or

>Is the 3dfx port supposed to be launchable under Win95 (unlike Rendition

Since the NROS can only run in Win95 (TEN interface is non-DOS) I can't see
why the offline version of the 3dfx patch couldn't run in win95. Hope I
helped you a little bit

Steve,

A very unprofessional reply to a thread that should have otherwise been
ignored.  =|

Cheers!

Steve reacted, so I would guess the round went to NOS.

OK you have a point there. Steve cracked :-) But I guess I liked the
"I'll show him! clakety-clak-clak, type type type. " I nearly shot orange
juice through my nose laughing on that one.

Sorry NOS :-) Hey way to go though reporting him for threatening
you. I now get the mental picture of 2 monkeys throwing dung at
each other. You just can't get that type of entertainment anywhere
else :-)

Oh pleaaase.

Get the hell out of here.  Your post are arrogant, immature, non-relative to
the basic of this newsgroup.  Just saying that Papyrus are a bunch of
pussies is enough for you to get 99% of the population of this newsgroup
against you. Do we do that ?? No. Why ?? Because without Papyrus, this
newsgroup would be empty probably, there would not be all those 1000+
website related to one or another Papyrus title, and we would not be able to
get into multiplayer racing like they offer on the NROS.

Did you ever read the r.a.s. FAQ before coming here ? Probably not. There is
an ethic here, and I hope in the future you will be able to read and apply
it.  Heck do we go in the 3dfx newsgroups and call the 3dfx guys a bunch of
pussies ? No.

It's a matter of ethic, and being civilised.  Think whatever you think, but
we don't need your irrelevant remarks.

Well, I shouldn't had really said all that (I am still the Antichrist for
some people here <g> ) but be sure I helped ALOT of people here, made some
great suggestion, and never publicly bashed Papyrus.  Heck you NEVER with a
big "N", helped people here on r.a.s. NEVER.

It's like in real life. If you go stay in another country, will you adopt
their way of living or stay with yours ?? Well, do the same here on r.a.s.
and learn how the newsgroup works.  We don't need people like you at your
current state.

Oh yeah btw I have a new sig file to help people getting faster downloads of
my posts. It's a 50% economy from before ! ;-)

I don't recall there being anything in the NG charter that compels me to
ask you for permission to post. There *is* however, something in this
NG's charter AND in the TOS of our ISP that prohibits the use of
personal abuse and *** language, either in a public forum or in
private email. We're about to see what teeth that ISP prohibition
actually has; we already know the newsgroup has none, as it's
unmoderated.

Thanks for caring

Hehehe...this is too funny. Actually I made that post when I was
um..er...well...intoxicated. I'm not responsible for what I say while
under the influence. Exercise your kill file at will though. I even
received an email from one real twit in this group threatening to
report me to my ISP. What a neo Nazi. Anyone ever hear of freedom of
speech? Looks like some of you would rather live under the banner of
communism than in a democracy where free speech is part of my charter
of rights. Have a nice day and don't bother to email me, it will go
unread.

Above is BS

Man are you ever dumb speaking. I never said Papy was pussies. In fact
I said this had nothing to do with Papyrus. I said YOU and your other
fellow snob racing sim buddies here are pussies because they just lie
down and accept things as they are. Without change there is no
revolution. Being french you should understand that. And calling me
immature or whatever is one of the oldest in the book. Do I come
across as someone who is actually going to lose any sleep over that
kind of mundane banality? At least learn to be original if you are
going to hope that I will stand up and take notice.
