their 99/00/01/02 licenses. Anyone know if this is a new ISI product
with possibly (hopefully) a new engine or any other details?

LMFAO !!!!!
They've 'evolved' their engine since F1 2000 to 2000 CS, to 2001, to 2002,
to their Nascar line, and then on to this.
Netcode will still be arse, gfx a bit inefficient, controller setup still
troublesome for some, physics a little questionable in places, tracks
inaccurate.

Are you still Laughing your ass off?

Even more now.

I am
Hope you'll have the character to do the same when it's released.

Their engine did. They developed the engine incrementally - one increment
being a Nascar title.
OK - fair enough. Do you?
Yup
It's ISI's engine. ISI developed it. It's an increment of the same engine
that powered all it's F1 titles before, and this one to come. Developments
that will show within the new F1 title over the older F1 titles, will
probably have come about as a result of the increment involved in the Nascar
title.
How true
Sadly. Doesnt mean it's good. Technically you could consider GPL an F1 sim -
and in terms of graphics ( with all the modern updates ), controllers, net
code, physics - tips any ISI/EA title into a hat.
OOO - ***y arnt we?
Athlon 2200, Asus A7N8X, 2x Corsair DDR3200 512mb Ram, Hercules Game Theater
XP. I'd suggest thats fairly 'proper'.

Probably the worlds best publicly availabel FF wheel, and imho, the best
pedals available. Yup - fairly 'proper'
Indeed they do. Infact, I have very good controller and GFX performance
within F12k2. However - a huge percentage have problems with controllers.
The controller system within ISI's titles is totally pathetic. Compare to a
Papyrus title. I'm NOT a papy fan boy - BUT, their controller system is
simple, efficient, effective, works first time every time. Ash McConnell's
just about the only other chap to have come close - and perhaps NetKar as
well - but ISI are doing as well with their controller setup code as they
are with their Netcode. It's basically - funny.
To suggest otherwise is chronic ignornace, stupidity, or lying. Take your
pick.
Not as much -it's not quite as fun having to explain exactly where you're so
missguided - but - yeah - I think I'm still laughing quite a bit
Doug
F1 Career Challenge* - the first major innovation in FORMULA ONE games for
many years, will ship in April for the PlayStation?2 computer entertainment
system, the Xbox video game system by Microsoft and the Nintendo GameCube.

Oh dearey me.
Confusing facts for 'crap'
Confusing suggesting that ISI's next F1 title will be nothing spectacularly
different to what has gone before with "being a***"
And confusing me for someone who really cares WHAT you think.
