I've had a very long, drawn out BAD experience with the F1 Sim and have now
become absolutely disgusted with the people at Ball Racing Developments.
They will no longer service their product even if you are willing to pay for
it. In the time that I've owned the F1 Sim (GP500) I've gone through many
relacements including the pedal springs (several times), all of the pots
(several times), and now the steering console has to be replaced as the left
stop (the thing that prevents the wheel from turning a full 360 degrees when
turning left) has failed along with the *** material that provides
tension to the steering wheel. This is something that I cannot replace
myself. However, the people at Interactive Racing (I'm putting in all the
iterations they've used of their company name in the hopes that a Dejanews
search will get as many hits as possible) have chosen to ignore my e-mails
looking for support.
To anyone considering purchasing one of their products, read this post and
realise that you too could be faced with this situation if you invest in one
of their products.
