Anyone have MS Sidewinder Precision Racing Wheel working w/ N3???

Mine works just fine in N3. I did have to to set up a profile to spit the
axis and then I just calibrated Joystick 1 (steering and gas) and Joystick 2
(brakes). I works with either force feedback enabled or not.

I can't get mine to work and have seen other messages posted.  Does anyone
have this wheel working with N3 and, if so, how did you do it?

Thanks
Fred

Fred, I e-mailed Sierra about another problem and they said the precision
wheel didn't work with N3. Their support folks got back to me fairly quick so
you might want to give them a try. Good luck

Tom, how do you set up a profile to split the axis?

Fred, mine workds fine.  Remeber to select DirectX as your joystick reader
on the Controls page.

Also, I set up a profile that splits the axes and configures the paddles as
the shift buttons.

Just use the N2 profile that comes with the profiler and edit the settings for
separate axis.

Please ignore all the people who keep responding to you about their force
feedback wheels.  The problem with the "new" wheel that you have is the way
it stores it's calibration values.  The only thing you can do is wait for
one of the companies (Sierra or Microsoft) to offer a fix.

Once again.  Fred has a MS Sidewinder Precision Racing Wheel, not a MS
Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel.  Not a slam, I know MS didn't publicize the
release of this new wheel.
