Any one get this combo to work with n3,I cant gt n3 to see the wheel
but it can see the petals, I am useing a mx300 SC.
The wheel has a built in setting for GPL but none for n3.
For $99 it's not a bad system at all,plays gpl very nicely.

No problems here!

Make sure you've calibrated your steering wheel from within
Options/Control screen of Nascar 3.

No problem here too! I've been running nasca2, nascar 99, and NASCAR 3, and
NASCAR Legends all under seperate axis design, in which I calibrate two sets
of axis in n3. And works perfect fine for me using the DirectiveX driver.
Currently, I am running DirectiveX 7 if that has any influence on your
problem.

If you installed DX7 you're S.O.L. Many reports of MSPPW & N3 not working
after installing DX7.

You are misinformed.

DX 7 is working fine w/ my MSFF, N3 and GPL so far.

MSPP
(Precision Pro) wheel not the MSFF (Force Feedback) wheel, the MSPP does
seem to have problems with DX7.

NP, just wanted to clarify that there are (apparently) still some bugs with
DX7 and the PP wheel :)

Actually, he is not mis-informed. The numerous reports of DX7 not working
with the new MS wheel and N3 are exactly why I didn't buy one.

It doesn't work for everyone.

DX7 also breaks the SideWinder Pro USB Joystick and several games,
Mechwarrior 3 being one of them.

DX7 needs a lot of work.

have been using an Ms PP wheel (just to clarify its the USB only NON
Force feedback version). and it has worked flawlessly for 2 months
Playing GPL,Viper racing,SCGT,and Nascar 3.(it only works on the direct
input not on Papy's own driver) the op sys was WIN 98 with the upgrade
and DX6.1.
I have had to format my only HD and have today installed
WIN 98 RELEASE 2. the DX version is shown as 6.1a (I think).
GPL works as good as ever but NASCAR3 does not see the steering wheel
of the MS PP anymore now (extremly annoying as I know it should be
working).
Looking at this thread has given me the Idea to re-install the version
of DX6.1 I know I was using before. and also squshed my other Idea of
trying DX7. what a 'shock' to find that MS hardware and software do not
work together.
