Question--MS Sidewinder Precision Racing Wheel/Pedals

My online racing teammate has this setup. If anyone else has this
steering wheel (no FF), what are your control panel settings for it
for NASCAR 4? (Mainly the sensitivity setting, but any other settings
you have for it or any tweaks/tricks would be appreciated).

Question--MS Sidewinder Precision Racing Wheel/Pedals

I had the ms wheel, and stupid me thought Id like a Thrustmaster Pro digital
better...  DOH, that is slowly becoming a bad move!  anyway there is a
profile for GPL that can be found, has separate pedals, and set buttons for
the wheel...  came on the cd, but If I remember you can make the profile
thing check the net for more profiles.

In my experience, the spring was much stronger on the smaller diameter MS
wheel, and I set the in NASCR sensitivity settings anywhere from 90 to 100%.
I never messed with the windows control panel setting once I had the gpl
profile (separate pedals) and in most all game I used a bit higher ratio for
wheel ratio like 24:1 for most all tracks, except Bristol...

ALSO of note, IN my experience the MS wheel, was a lot more precise and
never in 4 months had it spiked, or as you THrustmaster people know, ever
turned the car's wheels back to the right, as you turned to the left...  I
have used the Thrustmaster products since the T2 were new, and pots always
went to shiit, I guess though I thought "digital" was somehow going to
eliminate this problem...  Now the Digital is as bad (almost) as the plain
Nascar Pro gameport version I had (2 of before)  The only thing missing on
the MS wheel, is the dammable lack of shifter...  I had to use paddles...
(sometimes hard to remember right is up and left was down or such
nonsense!?)

But heck, for those with unlimited supply of money, the USB GPL Shifter by
act labs, (69 us) could fix that?  hmmm  bought, and can still find either
the sidewinder, or the Thrustmaster for around or less than 40 US, wonder if
I would spend nearly double that for just a freaking shifter???   YEAH
RIGHT....

If I could I would trade back...
