Sorry to ask this question as I'm sure it's been answered before. I've got
128mb of ram and am wondereing how to make the replays longer. I'm assuming
that it will increase the longevity of the skid marks as well.

Add these two lines to your core.ini
[ Replay ]
replayMemoryOverride = X
where X = the number of Kbytes of memory you want the replay buffer to
be. By default, X will be no smaller than 2048 (2Mb).

the lines to be added to your core.ini are:
[ Replay ]
replayMemoryOverride = 50000 ; replaybuffersize in KB
this makes for about 50MB replaybuffer. I don't know if this adjustment
also effects the longevity of the skid marks, but I doubt it. at least
with 50MB you will get a whole intermediate long race with full grid
including the practice session into one replay file. the memory used
gets less if you disabled skid marks, dust, fire or the like.
