Hiya

Ive seen a picture from GPL where you can see skidmarks

http://www.racesimcentral.net/~msumm/gpl/pcg1.htm

I was wondering ... will the skidmarks remain in the asphalt all the race
or only during some laps ? (F1RS style)

I can't imagine Loews at the end of a full length race ... :D

I haven't had the pleasure to ride behind an AI in the process of
a wreck (at least that's *my* story!<g>), AFAIK, it affects all
cars.

Cheers!

Thank you, Marc. Does it work for ALL cars or (like F1RS) just the
players car?

Yeah, thanks for the tips Marc. Does *** *gradually* get layed down in the groove?
And if so does it effect grip?

All cars seem to lay down *** when they spin or skid but I can't say I'm
good enough at it yet to have noticed if the grip picks up over a race. I'd be
lying if I said I ever managed more than 3 laps in a row without paying a
visit to the grass or checking out the sparks when the rollbar hits the
ground.

Join the club- it is neat to revisit the scene of your last off-track
excursion, complete with skidmarks, lap after lap.....  8^)

No.  The groove is much like F1RS, but looks 100% better IMHO.

...like marbles?  No.

Cheers!

LOL,

I also say I have a little tendency to crash at the same place lap after
lap, whatever how I try to avoid that.

Can we say syncronized crashing ?? I think this should be a new sport at the
2002 Aussie Olympics ! ;-)

I could compete in that hehe !!
