I have 256mb and I use the following setting. I haven't had any problems
getting entire race replays with 20 cars (not to mention 95% of most
practice sessions).
[Replay]
; number of Kbytes of memory you want to dedicate to thereplay buffer
; default value is 2048 (no setting here by default)
replayMemoryOverride=49152
The pitfall is that you'll be able to see all your driving mistakes at
both the beginning AND the end of the race... :-)

What file is the Replay variable located in?

Is core.ini really a general-purpose, player- or system-specific
config file? How does one find out what the available and valid
commands and settings are? I've never seen anything like a "console
commands" list for GPL, ala Quake or Unreal, for example.
