I just bought a new computer...an hp athlon 2400 with a 64 meg
integrated gforce graphic capability...but the graphics look sloppy in
the game..which I have not played before...is there something I can
do...change the resolution from a low 640 or something?  thanks..

You are most likely in software mode.  Get the d3d patch from papy.com
and read the instructions on how to enable direct3d.

Right on man! worked great!  what an awesome game...tho just found out
my joystick will not plug into my computer...its fairly old but
plugged into my old one.  Do the new joysticks and wheels plug into
usb ports?  whats a good wheel cost?  I had an old nascar pro one
awhile back but its gone now.

If you are happy wtih your joystick and spent all your cash on that
computer, you can always score an old soundcard off someone for a few
dollars and use that for its gameport only. Just install it as usual, and
disable it's soundcard stuff in the Device Manager, but keep the gameport
drivers.

Wheels and Joysticks all are USB now, at least anything half decent and
anything with force feedback.

Yep, the new ones are USB. As for wheels, it's largely personal
preference, but the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback (MSFF) wheel
has been around a long time, works well, has excellent pedals, and
isn't too expensive. (Under 100 in Britain.)
