Toca2 Lan problem

Hi,
I played Toca2 on my lan (2 computers) , but the lag was so bad that it
was worse than playing it through internet or modem to modem(which are
very acceptable).I play lots of other games on my Lan, like
GPL,viper,SCGT,and GP2 .They're all LAG-free ,even GP2.
Does anybody have a solution to that?

I believe an patch which is to be released soon (if it hasn't already) will
address this problem.

I certainly hope so because TOCA1 was great on a LAN but TOCA2 seems to be a
backward step in this area.
