Problem with TCP dial-up and LAN ??

Hi, I have a question for a network wizz out there.

I have TCP for LAN and Dial-up installed with win98, the problem is when I
use a game that is LAN TCP based win98 tries to dial out !!

I have heard there is a way of editing the system registry to stop this.

P.P.S I have IPX installed to, a lot of games don't support this now.
