F1 2001 and Force Feedback

I've read in a couple of forums that there is a FF patch coming for
this game. Can anyone confirm that.
I'm not a big GPL fan, just not enough time to get decent at it, but
F1 2001 is the first sim to intrest me since Viper Racing. Really well
done, what a pleasant surprise.
Here's a link describing what went into the physics model etc.

I can't confirm it, but EA/ISI would be brain dead if they didn't
release one, and they are not brain dead so expect a patch soon.

I can pretty much confirm it -- check out these threads (the URLs
might wrap, so you may have to cut-and-paste them into your browser):

Larry,

Believe it or not, FF never caught on with the Great Unwashed (hence the
disappearance of high-end FF wheels like the orig. LWFF).

As long as Papyrus keeps putting execellent FF in their sims, I'll be
happy.  As a long time T2 user, moving to a TMFF opened up a whole new
sim in GPL.
