F1 2001 force feedback with MOMO

Is there a file or something for this to put in your player file?
Even turning all aids off and force feedback on the game helps me turn
corners which is driving me nuts and making me crash as I constantly
oversteer.

Thanks for any help

Yes it's in the manual.  And on the function keys.

I don't get your answer David.. but that's logical since I also don't
really understand Milo's question.
A shot in the dark: with a Momo, you have to put the ff slider in F1
2001 to the left (instead of the default right setting). If you have
the slider to the right, the momo will turn into the turns.

Do make sure you read the readme file that comes with the f1 2001
patch.

It isn't immediately obvious, but the slider goes from -1 to +1, and the
MOMO wheel requires that it be on the negative side so that the forces are
in the correct direction. I don't know how this***-up occurs, as there
must be some sign convention in DirectX that defines exactly what positive
and negative are for each axis! Perhaps the driver developers just don't
follow the rules correctly, or maybe it's just poorly defined, but who
knows?

Andrew.

Thank you!  Moving slider to left solved all problems!!

See it's a good thing there are others here who actually know what you
are asking....Heck I thought you had the steering help enabled in F1 2001.
With that, all you do is gas and brake and it will take you around the
course....doh!
