rec.autos.simulators

I'm running a P3 1GHz with a GF3Ti500 and 256MB of 133SDRAM.  I've
tried maxing out the settings on the game and it runs at around 25 fps
(the recommended rate when I set the configurations), but the
processor occupancy stays at around 60 % just about all the time,
which sounds v. inefficient.  Is it possible to get the frame rate up
at the expense of processor occupancy?

If you haven't seen the framerate slider you haven't been to the screen
where you can up the details, so how are you running with maxed out
settings?
