I havn't got a clue as to what you are talking about as for as "an incident". However I
believe in bump drafting because I can benifit from drafting when I can't get a good
line to pass.

I ran one race in daga were I was forth. The tird placer was good but I had a lot of
good runs comming off of turn two and when I caught up to him I had no place to pass
with out jurking the wheel and sending us both in the wall. Everytime i had that good
run I would -bop- the brake and bump the third placer and end up going 209 at the end of
the strait. By the 9th lap we had caught up to the first and second placers.

I dont think that we could have got that speed with out it. Maybe 207 tops.

Unless an incredible tailwind is being used this smells like someone is
using a cheat here.  In a close draft, bumping or no bumping, the
maximum speed you are going to get at Talladega is 202-203 mph on the
backstretch.

Turn the temp up to 120.

209? 207?  How the hell are ya'll getting these kind of speeds?  I've only raced the computer
up
'till now but, hell, my top speed EVER is 197 and I can't seem to get THERE anymore either.  On
any given race I can get up to 194 no problem, sometimes 195 ('dega of course).  What am I
doing wrong?  Could my setup still be wrong?  I've modified it to the fasted I could...could I
be
missing something? Does drafting on Hawaii make that much differece.  I can't draft the
computer
cars, they're way too slow...of course they're only set at 90%.  Anybody...please help.  I'd
like to get my speeds up so I can be competitive enough to race ya'll.  Hawaii sounds awesome.

point.  everytime you hit something you loose a point. si if i go into
turn 1 and spin and me and another car hits like 7 times we both loose 7
points.  it sucks but who knows?

Well, I'm no leadfoot, but I've done 206 at the tail end of a 3-car
draft...Actually surprised myself, and we were quite pleased.

Problem is, the LEAD draft was doing 208+... :(

You mean so if I get into a multicar wreck and as I am sitting at the
bottom of the track waiting for the car to stop spinning and I get smacked
around like a pinball that I lose points for every hit? That sucks.

Hawaii_help just told me that incidents were any collision with body damage, damaged
engine, or a 360 spin.

That makes sense, cause any kind of bump above the slightest tap will
cause damage at 'dega.

Basically an incident is anything that would normally bring out a
yellow, even if the yellow flag option or damage is turned off.

Even with that ridiculous 120 degrees newbie setting, I've not seen
that type of speed??????

If you can only get 203 after drafting, then you have to pick anather draft partner or
improve your lines.

I get 207-pluss- by taking T1 high and take a late apex for T2 heading almost into
the infield increasing my exit speed to about 192 to 193. I'll -JUST- grab the next
oponants draft and the two of us end up at the end of the strait at about 208ish.

I do get 203 out of the back strech while by my self doing this.

   I DON'T USE ANY CHEATS!!
