Nascar Mac Joystick Problems...

by TSGilbe » Mon, 24 Feb 1997 04:00:00

I've been trying to get Nascar Mac to run with my MouseStickII, but to no
avail.  Sierra has been seriously lacking in the support department, so I
thought I'd ask around.  I have a PPC 7200/120, 7.5.5, 40 meg, and a
strong tendency to buy a wheel.  My stick has been working flawlessly with
Comanche, Descent, etc.
Thanks for any help.

I am afraid I can't help you with the MouseStick problem, but I can add
reinforcement to your thought of getting a wheel. I have the T2 wheel from
Thrustmaster, and it works great with my 7500/100. It makes the game *so*
much more enjoyable. I can't imagine racing without it now.

Make sure you have your monitor set for 256 colors and not thousands, I
was ready to take my MousestickII back until I read some place that the
color settings needed to be at 256, Did that, works fine.
