I have a Gravis Analog Pro joystick. I've just bought NASCAR even though
I play ICR like never before. I discovered that I have a joystick problem
with NASCAR. I start the game in VGA mode and calibrate the joystick.
When I finished calibrating and gone back to the option menu the selection
highlight begin running up or down the menu.
I have used the GRAVCOMP program to finetune my joystick but to no avail.
It's only NASCAR that I have a problem with. ICR and F1GP works just fine.
I have version 1.2 of NASCAR.
I have noticed that the readings from my joystick when I calibrates are
somewhat erratic, just as they would be since the behaviour of the
joystick is quite erratic, too. These readings are wrong since I get a
perfect reading in every other program that uses a joystick.
I know that NASCAR is quite demanding when it comes to hardware.
I have only 4Mb of RAM and a DX/2 66, I don't know if NASCAR is
screwing up because of my lack of RAM. My joystick is connected to a
Ultrasound soundcard.
Can anyone come to my rescue?
