after installing the card, my cpu freezes, dos mode will not work, my videos
have no picture, only sounds, and other stuff. I bought the card so I could use
ICR2 in rendition mode. And I can't do this yet. Please hlpe me. I called the
Hercules tech support at 11:00 a.m. and it is now 5:00 p.m. and they haven't
called back. Please help me. thanx.

The suggestion about setting it back to a 66mhz bus first is a good one.
Then OC it again. BUT make sure you have good cooling! I didn't at first
and had trouble at 75mhz. Then i put another fan on the bottom of the
case drawing air IN and reversed the power supply fan to go OUT. That
helped a lot, expecially because the IN fan on the bottom was blowing at
the Thriller. Also, make sure in GPL you have the W95 screen saver
turned OFF when you are playing the game. That can cause lockups.

I did remove the old video card drivers, but I can not find the updated bios to
my motherboard anywhere. I called Hercules 4 times today and they never called
me back.
The drivers on the CD-Rom ae dated November 1998, while the drivers on the
website are dated earlier than that. I have installed driver version # .85.xxxx
I re-installed everything today all over again but nothing worked.
My cpu freezes, the mpg/avi/mov videos have no picture, dos won't work, and the
screen doesn't fill my monitor.

BTW, GPL is really optimized for Rendition, as I just put in the
Thriller, added
some features (full mirrors) and still get 36fps with no car ahead,
which my
V2 SLI never reached...

Problem solved. The driver was screwed up. Now on to find rendition enhanced
tracks for ICR2 that are very easy to install.
