FF in GPL - whoa!

Still haven't received my replacement RS engine for my Act Labs wheel,
but when the thing actually powers up it's too tempting not to pop in a
game and play.

FF in GPL is just amazing!  I can understand how at first blush some
people might hate it - its a whole new set of inputs to process, and
now you're not just fighting centering springs through the turns.  I'm
still trying to work out the feel of the car, but for anyone who hasn't
tried it you're really missing out.

Also - any recomendations for control panel settings for FF for Rally
Championship?  I'm using GTX_Slotcar's settings in other games, but
haven't worked out what I like best in RC (and having the stupid wheel
die every few minutes doesn't help).

Don't think I hate the wheel - Act Labs is express shipping a
replacement part.  I've been really impressed so far.

Wow, what a bummer having a new wheel and not being able to use it all the
time right away ;-(    Well, at least it's Act Labs and they'll take care of
you.
As your wheel breaks in it'll be less stiff, so don't forget to change your
settings every now and then as the wheel changes. After about 100 hours of
use (one week for some guys), it'll REALLY start to feel good ;-)
