I was in a Babbages today (Sun 1/18) in Maryland and they had
half-a-dozen copies of Papyrus's SODA Racing for $12.99 .. I thought it
was a mistake, but they sold it to me without questions for that price.

You got a sweet deal! I paid about $45 at best buy.

Joe
I just bought it tonight for $12.99 at a Babbages in Harrisburg, Pa.
Therefore, it appears maybe all of the Babbages are reducing the price.
I asked the clerk about it, but he was surprised at the price decrease
also. For $12.99 I figured I don't have much to loose.

Thanks for the tip!!
It's true, I bought mine at the Babbage's in
Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, MD for $12.99.
They had about 2 left.
THANKS
I got the last one after calling all the Babbage's in the Milwaukee area
and having them hold it for me.The box was marked down from 59.99
Does the game suck that bad ? or maybe the rumored patch will
never come (like nascar)and everyone knows it .
>Enjoy ...
I saw it for that price at the Montclair Mall in Montclair (southern)
California.
Very surprising, and IMHO an unbelievable bargain!
Patrick.

Thanks to Doug and the rest of you for posting about this. I saw
Doug's message and stopped into my local Babbage's (Albany, NY)
earlier this week, but the one copy of the game they had was marked
full price, so I figured that it was just a local discount. After
seeing some more posts from around the U.S., I went in again
yesterday. It was still marked $54.99, but I asked the cashier to
scan it to check the price, as I had heard it had been discounted.
His eyes popped out in surprise and he said, "Man, that's a pretty
good deal!!!". "Just one of the wonders of the Internet" I said, as I
took home my prize... :)
Before you send me UCE, I know what you're thinking... Did he complain
to five or six postmasters last month? Now, you must ask yourself one
question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do you, punk?
The only reason you guy are buying this piece of garbage is cause it's
new. If it was 18 months old and $12.99 you wouldn't touch it.

Works fine on a PII300 without a Rendition ;-)
Cheers,
Richard
Fact. SODA is the racing simulator that is the closest to real racing.
Probably to difficult for you.
And your addition to this thread (and my reply to your idiot and immature
reply also) is helping at not this newsgroup, witch principal reason of

Hate to disagree with you but I probably would buy it even if it was 18 mos.
old. I just bought NFSSE for $14.95, along with Rally Championship & Screamer2
for $24.95, & ICR2 for $27.95. These games might be slightly old, but in my
opinion these are great buys at their price.
