N4: Can't join papy races (but can join all the others!)

Hi,

I've been playing N4 for close to 2 weeks now, and most of this time
multiplayer.  One thing that has completely mystified me is the fact
that I can join any race on the sierra server, EXCEPT the papyloop
games.  I can a "timeout opening network interface" or something...

What is so special with papyloop servers that I cannot join them?  I
want to race in those since they are usually the busiest ones...

Regards,

Mike

You should be able to join them fine as long as the session has not
progressed past the joining state.

D Burnette in N4

Some people do nothing wrong.
The problem is, they do nothing.
And THAT is wrong.

No no no!!

I somehow knew that was going to be the reply :-)
I know exactly how multiplayer works, I've been playing on other
servers with no problem whatsoever.  But trying to join the papyloop
races, it timeouts.  There is no limit on ping quality (and my ping is
around 100), it is in practice, it is not full, and my rating is good.

I have been completely confused as to why the papyloop races are
different...

I have been in a few. Cant say that I noticed anything different about
the connection. Mabe something like your trouble is the reason for the beta
patch for multiplayer? If you havent already, give it a try.
