TIR Crash to desktop HELP !!!

by Doug Hoo » Wed, 20 Nov 2002 12:37:17

I can get into the options and set up my wheel graphics and sound but as
soon as I select my car and track and click race it changes to a loading
screen and instantly crashes to the desktop. Is there a preferred set of
Detonators to use . It seems to crash just as the 3d of my video card should
be kicking in.

TIR Crash to desktop HELP !!!

I'm running Det. 40.72 on a GF4 Ti 4400 (AMD 1600/512MB RAM/WinXP
Home/Turtle Beach SC/MOMO Wheel).  No problems at all with TIR.

Just a thought since this is something that plagued games in the past: have
you set your desktop to match the game settings (resolution and color
depth)?

It turned out to be the FF causing the crashes . As soon as I disabled FF in
the game it ran fine. Gameports and Win XP do not play nice together. Thanks
for the input Joe.
