SCGT keeps crashing to desktop after races

I installed SCGT Vehicle Selection Manager 2.0, but now SCGT keeps crashing
after I exit a race in "software mode", or it crashes to windows desktop as
it is loading a new race or practice, when I use GLIDE or Direct 3d. I have
installed the latest patch 1.551, as well as the visual damage patch, and
they were working fine until I installed SCGT Vehicle Selection Manager 2.0.
Any help would be appreciated.

All VSM does is set the "Unlock Points=" in the VEH file to either 0
(available) or 5 (not available). If you try to use a car yourself that has
Unlock Points=5 SCGT will crash.
