Crash to desktop with new D3D Rasterizer

Are anybody else expiriencing this with new Direct 3D Rasterizer ?
It's not everytime. But it happens often.

I have tried with several carsets and even with a clean original GPL Carset.
Same deal.
Used a replay were I expirienced a crash to desktop while watching the
replay. The funny part is that I watched it onboard my own car, and I did'nt
crash to the desktop i the race. Only in the replay. It crashes to the
desktop on the exact same spot every time.

As a server host and admin for a GPL League, I have noticed that more than
before are having the same problem.

I will try with the old rasterizer and see if it happens there too.

Just tested the replay with the old rasterizer. Same thing. Chrashed to the
desktop on the same location.
Could it be driver related ?

Windows 98SE
Geforce 2 GTS
Dx8
Nvidia 12.90

Gonna try some old 6.50 drivers

try messing around with the ones and zero's in the core.ini section about
d3d.  perhaps you are forcing your nvidiot...errr your nvidia card to do
something it doesn't like.

Here comes the very wierd part

I first watched the replay in it's full size. 1h18m. Crash to desktop every
time at the same place.
I then cut it a bit smaller, 2m53s. Same deal.
I then cut it even smaller, 16s. No crash to the desktop.

With the 2m53s replay I watched my car with TV1. Crash.
All other cams had no problems.
Then watched another driver thru The Loop. Nothing. Jumped onboard my car
again. No crash. wtf ?
Watched another eagle driver thrue The Loop, nothing. Watched a Lotus,
crash...

I just dont get it ??

Are you running any high-color car skins?  This is the behavior I used to
see when running greater than 16 color mips with my GF2 - as soon as a
high-color car showed up, either in front of me or in the mirrors, GPL would
CTD.

I have tried with several different carset's including a 100% clean original
GPL carset (the default one).
All gave crash to desktop.

Maybe the problem is in the replay file itself? Can anyone else play it? If
you upload it some where I'm willing to try.

Nope they get ctd too.
But you can "fool" it and prevent it to ctd, by watching another car go
thrue the loop first.
