Hi all,

Just buy the Logitech Wingman formula wheel and started to play gpl and what
was my surprise that I couldnt use generic drivers but only direct input
drivers.....so here is my question,is this normal and I cant use generic
drivers with this wheel? and if I can use generic, how can I do it?

Thx in advance

I've not been able to use the generic drivers either.  When I do it only
detects the first controller on my system.  Since I have an LWFF and newly
purchased (today!) CH pedals this means that I have to use the direct
drivers to calibrate all the axes.

I'm not really sure whether the generic drivers offer any benefit over the
direct ones.  Can anyone shed some light on the differences?

Cheers

Phil

the generic ones get their informations directly from the hardware, i.e.
the gameport. this won't work with USB or serial wheels - I don't know
if the LW non-FF is such a wheel, but the FWFF is. for the CH-pedals:
wire them directly to your logitech.
