Here's a bit from the Sierra web boards about the future of N4. The
original question was the rumour that Papy would be ceasing all support for
N4.

PAPYRUS HAS NO INTENTION OF ENDING SUPPORT FOR NASCAR 4.

There will be a patch soon.

There will be an expansion pack after the patch.

Sounds like a reasonable answer. Why would anyone think thet wouldn't
support their current project.

Because it takes them an hour and a half to watch 60 minutes? (Sub-room
temperature IQ)

I hear that a lot from this group, but you guys do know there is no money at
all for them to make on CART sim right? Unless CART goes back to Indy, Papy
would be stupid to waste any time at all on such a project. Until CART and
IRL get their act together any sim would be financial suicide.

But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

But a Nascar sim doesn't "need" Daytona to still be a Nascar sim. Plus they
did have a track pretty similar to Daytona in Talladega. A CART sim will
never sell without Indy and they have no other track like it.

Best guess is Busch & Trucks maybe including Chicago & Kentucky

What you quoted is exactly as much as we know.

We're *HOPING* it's both bgn & trucks and the tracks left off.
I'm hoping for Chicagoland, since I live here.

Yeah, Chicagoland and Kansas would be good. If they include those tracks, I
guess they would include the complete 2001 season also.

Yer probably right, but I am still holding my breath for a NASCAR
Legends 2, circa 1985. Or a revamp of the original NASCAR Legends
with the new physics and graphics engines that also lets you race on
dirt.

A truck is what you use to haul the race car.
