Screamer 2 S3-Virge Support

It seems that screamer 2 has S3-Virge support.
When I run setup from dos it reports 28Mb for SVGA speed
when I run S3spdup. /load vesa vga, it reports 60 MB for SVGA speed.
It's a lot faster.
why does it say so on the packaging.

I'm confused (yeah..it doesn't take much) but I always though MB meant
megabyte (a measure of disk size).  Perhaps you mean M? (? meaning
something else...megahertz?...mips?).

MB is referring to mb per second transfer rate to video memory perhaps?
This will be a function of CPU speed, RAM speed, VidCPU speed and
video memory speed.  Oh, and bus speed.  S3spdup (AFAIK) improves the
data transfer rate into video memory.

I'm still at work, just bought the game, and my work P60 with 1mb
Trident9440 gets a vid speed of svga 7MB.  If my home P133 with
2mb s3Virge can crack 60MB, I'm going home NOW!  It also sucks
with the keyboard, so I can't wait to try my wheel with it :)
First impressions are that it makes RAC RALLY look a bit sad
and useless.

BTW - s3spdup will improve the perfomance of *any* s3 based card.
It doesn't have to be Virge.  Although I have a Virge as well, and
have found it faster than a standard Trio64V+ in non-3d accelerated
games.  It's a good *budget* 3d card - not the same performance as
Rendition, but much cheaper - esp. if you buy a 3rd party card that
just uses the s3d chip and 2-4mb of EDO.  Best of all, it kicks
with non-3d accelerated games, so it's a good all round card.
