I have an S3 ViRGE card with 4MB on board (the chipset version is 325).

How can i know if its accelerating my DirectX games or not ?

BTW: Does anybody know how to bypass the missing LANGUAGE.INF installation
problem with the NASCAR II CD. Because of that i can only install the DOS
version.

Your Virge is better at 2D graphics than 3D, IMO. A decent 3d acclerator
(of which Virge is not) will give you higher resolutions (640X480 or
800X600) at higher framerates (30-40 fps depending on which game with my
Diamond Monster 3D).

Hello Ricardo

The S3 Virge is not really a 3D accelerator . The 4MB makes no
difference to speed. I also have the S3 Virge (2MB) and it was
no better than my old bog standard Trident on the benchmark
terst I ran. I am waiting to see what Nascar3 is going to
support before I spend money on a exspensive 3D card.

Sorry I don't know what the second problem is though I will
say there is "only" a DOS version of Nascar2 which also runs
under Win95. Run the DOS version from Win95 as normal.
