Terrible graphics in GPL!

by Starfleet Comma » Sun, 13 Jun 1999 04:00:00

I am having a problem with the graphics in GPL.

Whenever I switch any of the textures on, it makes everything go
black! For example, large areas of the road are just black, while
other parts look normal. Green trees appear black, the***pit
flickers, etc.

I had this problem before, but fixed it - problem is, I forgot how I
did it!

System specs:

Pentium MXX 166MHz
32MB of RAM
Voodoo2 12MB Creative Labs
Latest Drivers for Voodoo2

Starfleet Command

"First there was nothing, and then it exploded - and I'm sure the Enterprise was there to witness it!"

This is a driver problem.
Stick glide 2.53 in your gpl folder

% This is a driver problem.
% Stick glide 2.53 in your gpl folder

Or use the Quake III drivers (http://www.racesimcentral.net/).
