Hi Ruud,
Know what, I got the same problem (green lines) once.....Almost the
same spec as you, even being Dutch, except I've got the PII-266 and
W95(English, OSR2.1). I think it's the voodoo-1 getting hot. I've got
a Diamond Voodoo 1.
Also I've got the flashing menu problem, and multiple mouse pointers.
It doesn't occure much, and personaly I don't care. Oh BTW,
Active-Movie isn't the cause....

The flashing menu and multiple mouse pointers is usually caused when
(memory is going and I'm not at my machine...) Tri-liner buffering or
something is turned on. For GPL almost every option needs to be turned
off for the best performance. I am talking about the options on the
Voodoo card properties.

Nope, same problem here!
Viper V330, Monster 3d I, AMD K6-2 350, 64 megs EDO RAM
Well, I'll reply again to the same thread....
I have a 3DFX Cool on my Monster 3D and it still happens. The chip is cooler with the fan, but I
don't think
it is heat.
BTW, I am using Win 98. I have tried the Win98 generic drivers, Diamonds latest (ancient 1.01 from
March!!!)
and the newest 3DFX reference drivers.

I have Flash3d VoodooI and have this same problem.
What is the environment variable that sets the tri-linear buffering?
Kai
Hope this helps.
