GPL: Black Patches w/No Graphics

I have just purchased GPL, and I am getting black patches on all the tracks.
They appear in various places in all the tracks.

I have posted a JPG at alt.binaries.simulators.autos if anyone wants to see
what I'm talking about. The image is from Monaco, and it has some of the
milder ones, at least I can see where the track is.  Other's have a black
patch completely covering the screen and I can't see the track at all.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

My System is:

Windows 95 OSR 2.5
IE4 with Desktop enhancements installed
Intel Pentium II 233 Mhz
64 MB Ram
Diamond Monster 3D II  (the other Video card is a ATI 3D Expression)

If I run the game with no 3D effects, I don't get the black patches, but it
is definitely not worth playing.

Do you have the latest drivers from Diamond? Also make sure you don't have
any of the options checked and the advanced tab under display properties for
the Monster 3D.

I had the same thing. I just upgraded my Glide version to 2.53 and it
was fixed. You need the latest glide if you have a VooDoo 2 (I have a
Monster 3d II). Hope this helps
