Best Steering Wheel for Nascar Sim?

by Erik » Wed, 16 Dec 1998 04:00:00

Hi,

I am looking for a steering wheel for Nascar 1 and 2. Any
recommendations? Will the new force feedback wheels (from Logitech/MS)
work with N1/2?  If not in DOS, perhaps in a DOS window in win95/98?

Thanks for any help!

I have just bought a Nascar Sprint Wheel/Pedals combination and
cannot configure and calibrate gas/brake axis' in the Nascar 99
sim.  Any suggestions out there?

Force feedback will not work with N1/N2 or in DOS.  I'm not sure about it
working in a DOS shell.

If you are using the Windows interface I would suggest you get the
latest patches for the Sprint Windows drivers (actually get the full
updated install to insure you get the latest drivers):
<ftp://208.129.210.78/pub/library/installs/motorsports_12.exe>

If you are using the DOS version, will N99 recognize a joystick
connected to the gameport?
