i have an amd1700
geforce2mx400
512 ram
and an msi motherboard .
i run gpl and after 1 or 2 laps i get a stutter in the game for about 3
to6 seconds then its fine again untill another 2 or 5 laps then the same
thing!
anyone here know how to fix this please
appreciate it !
i have tried a few drivers - but have gone back to standard card cdrom
drivers for now and updated directx 8 to 8.1 but still same stutter !
help !!!!!!!!

It is a crazy plan but it might work - in an A-team stylie ;)

There was also an IDE / PCI latency patch for Via chipsets....that might
do some good.
How about power management? Have you turned it off in BIOS (APCI??)
have you turned it off in windows? Have you turned off the screensaver?
If you are using ME / XP / 2k(???) have you turned off autorecovery?
It could be an IRQ thing - check that everything isnt sharing the same IRQ.
