  I don't mind the graphics in N4 EXCEPT for the square tires..
what setting am I missing to smooth those suckers out(this is
mainly in the replay area)

It's a speed reduction strategy implemented by Nascar for the 2001
season.  Since everyone still seems to be able to do 190mph at daytona
(even with the roof rail), they asked goodyear to come up with square
tires in order to increase rolling resistance.

I would check your graphics settings, this is the first I have ever heard of
"square" tires in N4. They look awesome to me

If world detail is set to lower end, it causes this effect. Set world detail
3/4 or more to the right and the tires are round.

  Thats the info I was looking for...THANKS...my poor poor PIII 500 may not
like moving the slider that far over, but I'll give it a go...
