You know, I just reinstalled that game tonight and it's amazing how good it
still is. In some ways it's better than NASCAR 3, like it supports 2
joystick devices on separate ID's. It seems to be a lot more like GPL than
NASCAR 3 is.

Too bad they couldn't toss Papyrus AI together with the CPR physics model.
That would be a nice stop-gap measure.  The driving feel of ICR2 is
getting real old now, at least on road coourses.

For a complete and utter arcade racer. :)

Aw hell no!!!  The CPR physics engine was horrible!  I've never seen a car with
so much oversteer when you aren't at all on the gas and so much push when you
brush the brake pedal.....

Are you kidding me???  CPR is absolutely one of the WORST racing "sims" I have
ever played!  And I for one will praise almost ANYthing that has to do with CART
or Indycar racing!  The physics in CPR are terrible.  Can I really run a Champ
Car at Michigan and never drop below 240mph?  And without even tuning the setup?
I am thinking probably not.  We all know about the AI too.  The only thing that
CPR has going for it is the pit stops with the animated pit crews.  Let's be
realistic. Without a decent physics engine, there is no racing simulation.  So
come on Papyrus...let's get that CART thing happening again!
