How does TRD2 compare with the F1C mods?

I'm wondering how the various racing formulas and series' in TRD2 compare to
the mods in F1C which offer the same types of racing. Is TRD2 worth picking
up cheap, or are the F1C mods better? Particularly the Touring Car mods (in
terms of handling and damage modelling).

Handling - mods are much better
Damage - TRD2 is much better

Has anyone managed to sort out decent controller settings for PRD2
yet?  I've had a decent time in a few of the cars but I'm still
wondering if I've sorted the controller out.  Why can't these damn
games have a nice NON-LINEAR------->LINEAR slider that I can crank up
to 100% and just go. =p

On a side note, when I try to adjust controller settings, I find the
deadzone and saturation points slowly creep away from where I have
them set, like there's a magnet pulling them.  It's ***ing spooky.

In TRD2 the controller is fully linear in the "pro-simulation" mode, no
tweaking needed. You can also drive the career mode in pro-sim if you edit
the mods.ini file.

About comparing TRD2 and F1C mods...they don't compare, they're made for
different audiences. I like them both, but TRD2 is not a real simulation,
even in "pro-sim" mode. It's fun though.

Jason:

Head over to the Race Sim Central RD2 forum...we need some help over
there...seriously.
