I've been struggling with the Dover setup (yeah yeah, I know it's the
Monster Mile)....but...

Don't the canned setups from Papyrus seem counterintuitive? They've got
the right front shock completely stiff, and the car goes away after
about 10-15 laps or so...and gets a wicked push.

Has anyone redid their weight and shocks for Dover to correct this, or
am I the only one that's having problems with it?

Yeh Todd you're right.
I had to soften the FR shock quite a bit and stiffen the RR and the reverse on
the other side of the car.  I also threw some rear bias in and added cross
weight (+10).  I think the ACE setup had -45 or something like that.  Anyways,
I was able to run a bunch of 150.mph and a best of 151.706.  I don't know what
the record is and I don't think I'm even close but it was a definite
improvement from the stock ACE car setup.  BTW, I'm new to this group and
would like to get more involved with some of the racing groups I keep reading
about.  Any suggestions anyone?  Thanks.

     I hate it (or should I say I hate MY DRIVING on it). I'm beginning to
 realize that a joystick is no good for me. I just can't control the car.
 I'm going to start looking into wheel/pedal setups.

race a schedule with setups and weather emailed to us for races and we all
have a drivers2.txt to assure everyone's equal. Lot's of fun.

hey i pulled the restrictor plates off my SIMMs and now i can play SVGA Nascar
with everything on at about 30fps on my DX2-66! :)
