I've pre-ordered one, and am just waiting for it to come in. Hopefully I'll get in
under the first shipment :) About the only thing that worries me is the fact that
(I don't think anyway) it isn't a dual axis controller (Steve, anyway that you
could look into "fixing" the act labs wheel like you did the T2? please?). The
thing is though, not that many games support dual axis control (outside of the
hard core sims anyway) and I play a lot of game from a lot of genres. Not to
mention the cartridge technology!.. man, its about time someone thought that up
:). I think they're shipping them to people on the 24th so I have to wait (ahhh,
GPL comes out on my birth day and I have to wait for my dang wheel.. the torture,
the pain). I've been using my CH Force FX (ya... I know) and getting ok lap times
(but I'm not that good anyway so I haven't had ANY success on the GP car... man
that thing is a beast). In GP3 the closest I've got to the 1:23.21 of dave mansell
is 1:26.75... not bad for a joystick, but I won't even tell you my GP2 time for
fear of ***... I'll just say its a little under 10s off the record...
Anyway, judging from the raving reviews, I can speculate that this is gonna be a
kick ass product... can't wait, get yours NOW!
